Itinerary
DAY 1
Departure from USA by scheduled air service (airfare not included in package).
DAY 2 — ROME Arrival at Rome’s Leonardo Da Vinci airport where you will be met and transferred by private car to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the Eternal City on your own.
DAY 3 — ROME Following breakfast at your hotel you will be picked up for your city sightseeing tour including such highlights as the Piazza della Repubblica, the famed Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, and the spectacular Spanish Steps. The afternoon is at leisure for shopping or visiting various museums and churches.
DAY 4 — ROME After breakfast, you’ll have a full day to explore Rome on your own or you might join one of our optional sightseeing excursions.
DAY 5 — ROME/FLORENCE Following breakfast at the hotel, board your train to Florence. Upon arrival in Florence, check in at your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore this Renaissance City on your own.
DAY 6 — FLORENCE/PISA Breakfast at the hotel followed by a morning city sightseeing tour including Piazzale Michelangelo, the Cathedral, Giotto’s Bell Tower, the Baptistery and the Fine Arts Academy. This afternoon board your motor coach for a guided tour of Pisa. Visit the famous Leaning Tower, the Baptistery and the Cathedral. Return to Florence for overnight.
DAY 7 — FLORENCE/SIENA/SAN GIMIGNANO Following breakfast at the hotel, board your motor coach for a full day guided tour of the medieval towns of Siena and San Gimignano. Traveling through the Chianti wine region of Tuscany, you’ll pass rolling hills dotted with olive trees and vineyards. Return to Florence for overnight.
DAY 8 — FLORENCE/USA After breakfast you will be picked up and transferred by private car to the airport in time for your return flight home.
